For over 40 years, CFA has been a leading voice in strengthening U.S.-Africa relations and engaging the African diaspora on issues of policy, development, and partnership. Our mission is to educate Americans about Africa, connect diaspora communities to decision-makers, and keep Africa at the center of U.S. foreign policy.
CFA convenes leaders from across the diaspora to address critical issues such as trade, development, governance, health, food and agriculture, culture & creative industries. We work to ensure Africa remains a priority in U.S. policy and that diaspora voices are included in the conversations that shape global affairs.
The Constituency for Africa (CFA) is one of the leading organizations in the United States committed to educating and mobilizing the American public on matters pertaining to Africa and the African Diaspora. Since its founding in 1990, CFA’s mission has been to educate the American public about African and African issues and to strengthen cooperation between and among American organizations, groups, companies, and their counterparts in Africa.
